Five principles for a sustainable architecture
The use of the materials, according to their natural characteristics, in conjunction with modern building technology is environmentally sustainable, thereby gaining an economic value.
It''s usefull for people only when they can afford it.
The task of the conceptor is to find the appropriate solutions to fit the job according to a given budget.
Often, it's not the building itself that's too expensive but rather the given solution.
If we always do what we've always done, we'll always get what we always got!
It's in an environment that encourage design freedom, that new solutions can be realized.
Sustainable architecture creates habitats where social integration within the society is facilitated. Sustainable urban planning among other things meets the needs of aspects of human dignity, the need for a safe and secure enviroment, and public meeting and communication facilities.
Our Thinking
As architect, I'm not the corrective, but rather the constructor - my job as architect is to formulate a set of specifications which will constitute the building. In so far it is not the question of the architect's style, it is more the architect’s signature in the building process to realize the client's vision.
